To Book a Paramedic Competency Assessment:

1. View the information below for the location of the Assessment Centres within Australia, and the dates assessments will be run.

2. Send and email to: enquiries@paramedicassessments.com to register your request for a competency assessment, and clarify which assessment centre you would prefer to have your assessment

3. A reply email will provide the candidate with essential information on booking processes for the individual assessment centres.

4. Book and complete payment for your assessment, and ensure confirmation of assessment is given - these details will be emailed to you.

   PLEASE NOTE: Candidates should note that should there be less than 4-candidates for a particular session they may be deferred to the next available session to ensure sufficient candidates.

Prior to booking you confirm that you:

• Have read the Candidate Handbook (hyperlinked) available on the Consortium Website;

• Understand that AHPRA is the sole party responsible for determining your registration status – this is not determined by the universities who form part of the Consortium;

• Understand and agree to the processes (including assessments and appeals) and behaviour expectations outlined in the Candidate Handbook.

• Agree to pay the required assessment fee, which is only refundable in specific circumstances as outlined in the Candidate Handbook.

• Understand that your personal information (including but not limited to my name, address, date of birth, application number, assessment results and appeals information) will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Legislation applicable to each relevant Consortium member. In particular, you authorise my personal information to be disclosed to:

  • the Consortium Members;

  • the Commonwealth as may be required under any applicable Commonwealth funding agreements, and I acknowledge that Commonwealth officers may disclose this information to other agencies, organisations, bodies or associations for the purposes of Paramedic Registration; and

  • any regulatory authorities, registration boards, or similar third parties, where this is necessary to facilitate Paramedic Registration; and

• Agree to be contacted for the purpose of participating in surveys that will assist the Consortium in the performance of its functions and improving services.
